Traffic Engineering in an approved elective course of Bachelor in Civil Engineering, Purbanchal University, Nepal. The course is being offered in engineering colleges affiliated to Purbanchal University for Final semester. The course contains Urban Traffic Planning, Traffic Characteristics, Traffic measurement and analysis, speed studies, Highway capacity and Level of service, Parking studies and analysis,Traffic Safety, traffic control and regulation, traffic and environment and traffic management in Nepal. This course definitely put a foundation step to the students that are seeking their future in traffic engineering.
